This text translates as "The Old Shall be Made New, and the New Shall be Made Holy." This famous quote from Rav Kook, the first chief rabbi of Israel, reminds us that while our lives are never the same after tragedy, we do go on to shape new lives, and in embracing that new life, we make it and ourselves holy.
